Blog 4 Presentation Skills

 Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh.

Hi blogger friends, this time is the fourth blog in one of the subjects that I took, namely presentation skills.  In this fourth blog, I will write down the activities and assignments given in the fourth week of the course.

Our material that week was about the organization of a presentation.  There are four elements that must be considered before making a presentation.

a. Rhetorical is a form of questioning.  Rhetorical is a question that is used to ask a point of the question or to show emphasis.  Rhetorical questions are questions asked to make a point, not to get an answer.

b. An interesting fact. There are so many elements we can add to a presentation to make it more effective and interesting for the audience. Three of these are facts, quotes, and statistics, and the reason they are effective in public speaking is simple: Adding support from outside sources reinforces the validity of the information you are presenting and the statements we make.

Using facts in your presentations gives you a strong starting point with your audience. By providing facts, you establish yourself as an authority—a credible source of information who has a solid understanding of the topic and who can provide relevant data that has been confirmed as true.

1. As an opener—Sharing an interesting or little-known fact can grab your audience’s attention right off the mark

2. To support your opinions—By showing your listeners that your opinion on a subject or situation is based on indisputable fact, your reasons for holding that opinion appear more valid.

c. Anecdote. Tell personal stories because the audience will enjoy seeing your human side.

d. The last is give them a problem to think about how suppose to wanted to set up a new call centre and what would be the first step.

Okay, I think that's all of about the short material that I have learned, if you wanna give me the suggestion or something like that.

Thank you

Wassalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh.
