Blog 1 Presentation Skills

Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh.

Hello everyone, how are you?  I hope well.  On August 30th, 2022, in this odd semester, my class is studying "Presentation Skills" which is taught by one of our lecturers, namely Miss Lely Novia. The activities that our class does that we held a offline meeting at the campus. 

This is the first time that lectures are held offline after approximately 2 years of online classes.  I feel happy because I can meet friends and lecturers.  the atmosphere on campus hasn't changed much, it's still the same as the beginning of being a new student there.

At the first meeting last week, our class only discussed a few lecture contracts and other assignments that will be faced in this semester.
Oh yeah, there are some explanations from miss novy about what we will learn in this presentation skills course.

PRESENTATION SKILLS: The definition of Presentation Skills is persuasive communication that conveys a messages, ideas, works, situations through verbal and non-verbal methods to form "TRUSTING".

 The objectives of the presentation are:

1. Conveying thoughts/ideas

 2. Show a work/product
 
3. Explaining a situation/circumstances To form a sense of trust. The verbal method is in the form of choosing words and sentences that have an effect, clarity of vowels and meanings, as well as sharpness of intent and targeting which has an influence of about 7% while non-verbal methods can be in the form of intonation which affects 38% and  body language in the form of harmonious facial expressions and eye contact, it can also affect gestures and body attitudes that contain vaginal discharge, which affects about 55%. Preparations that must be considered when presenting:

4. Material: must be interesting, up to date, challenging and inspiring.

5. Mental: must be ready, positive, confident and also enthusiastic.

Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh Hello everyone, how are you?  I hope well.  On November 30th, 2021, the day my class is studying English for journalism.  The activities that our class does that we held a virtual meeting with Miss Novy using the Microsoft Teams application to present the power point that was made last week.   Tuesday, May 25, 2021 Topic : "Discussion Meeting" Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh..   Hello everyone, this time my blog is different from the previous one because in this blog I only tell a little about the intercultural communication meeting which only discusses preparation for the final exam.  This time our meeting was through Microsoft Teams 365. To be honest, this is a new thing for me in using Microsoft, there are some obstacles when I want to enter the 365 website, and in my opinion it's easier to enter into the LMS syam-ok.  That's because I'm used to using LMS syam-ok, but that's okay, I will continue to learn to use Microsoft 365 because it has many benefits and makes it easier for Miss to record our meetings, besides that there are many other benefits.   Another advantage of this Microsft Teams is that it makes it easy to Miss to see who comes to join on time and who is late, then it will be seen if someone comes in and out of the room...
