 Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh

Hello everyone, how are you?  I hope well.  On November 9, 2021, the day my class is studying English for journalism.  The activities that our class does that we held a virtual meeting with Miss Novy using the Microsoft Teams application to discuss what we had learned while studying English for journalism.


In the virtual meeting we discussed all the topics that had been studied, then Miss Novy asked us individually about what material we were most good at.

I am personally interested in the material on the topic History and Principles of Journalism.


So many stories started from the introduction to the history of journalism for the beginnings and talk ways which was originally used by governments to show the news of their messages.  first time during the times people received the news of the Roman Empire before the year zero.  people can read about births, deaths, marriages and the results of legal trials from the public places such as market square. There is any a german man called Johannes Gutenberg who invited a machine is called Printing Press.


Then there are 10 principles of journalism, including:

1. Verification and objectivity are important to gathering sources

2. Originality, completeness, transparency, and fairness. There are the principles that journalists must remember when they are telling story 

3. Restraint, humanity, accountability, and empowerment. The last principles are about how journalism can impact people.


Above are some of the stoties that I can shared in this meeting.

This time there were 3 presenters who appeared.  The first presenter was Tasya who brought the topic of Words in Print, then the second presenter was Baiq Nisrina who brought the topic of Broadcasting the News, and the third presenter was Musdalifah who brought the topic of Journalism in the Digital Age. The first presenter with the topic words in print brought the material completely so it was quite easy to understand.  The essence of the words in print material has 7 parts, including: 1.   Tuesday, May 25, 2021 Topic : "Discussion Meeting" Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh..   Hello everyone, this time my blog is different from the previous one because in this blog I only tell a little about the intercultural communication meeting which only discusses preparation for the final exam.  This time our meeting was through Microsoft Teams 365. To be honest, this is a new thing for me in using Microsoft, there are some obstacles when I want to enter the 365 website, and in my opinion it's easier to enter into the LMS syam-ok.  That's because I'm used to using LMS syam-ok, but that's okay, I will continue to learn to use Microsoft 365 because it has many benefits and makes it easier for Miss to record our meetings, besides that there are many other benefits.   Another advantage of this Microsft Teams is that it makes it easy to Miss to see who comes to join on time and who is late, then it will be seen if someone comes in and out of the room...
