Topic : "Discussion and Presentation In Some Countries"


Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh..

  This time I want to share another story about the follow-up presentation from last week.  I hope you all don't feel bored reading this blog.  Make reading a habit, don't just read WhatsApp stories, Instagram stories, Facebook, and others.  Reading anything is very useful, especially reading the latest news news or historical stories in the past.  Interesting right?  besides being interesting, you also get new insights, this is very useful.  Let's make diligent literacy so as not to miss the news and not easily blinded by other people.

  Just go to the topic of discussion.  There are 4 themes.  I will be presenting.  The first presenter was Nabila Sarah, who brought customs and culture from the country of England, this nabila has made a presentation before, this time she is repeating her presentation.  Continued the second presenter, Nur Rahmi, who gave an explanation of the customs and culture of Singapore, then the third presenter was Jessica who chose America, then Ryan chose Australia.  

  I have given an explanation in this country of England on blog 6, if you are still curious, try to reopen my blog 6, comment so that I can share the blog link again.  Now I just discuss back a little about the country of England.

  If Britain were an independent sovereign country, its economy would be the seventh or eighth largest in the world.  Britain is a highly industrialized country.  It is an important producer of textiles and chemical products.

  What's the difference between England and England?

 England refers to the region referred to as 'England' which is part of the United Kingdom.  Britain is the name for the island of Britain.  While Great Britain is the designation for a country which consists of four entities, namely England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

  The second next presenter was Nur Rahmi, who gave an explanation of the customs and culture of the country of Singapore

  Singapore is an island nation off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. It is separated from Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to the north, and from the Riau Archipelago, Indonesia by the Singapore Strait in the south.

  In the past, around the 14th century, the island of Singapore was part of the Srivijaya kingdom and was known as Temasek (which means "Sea City"). It is believed that Singapore was the seat of government of the Malay Kingdom before being occupied by Sir Stamford Raffles, a governor general of the British Empire.  

  Singapore has an advanced trade-oriented market economy.  Singapore's economy is one of the most open in the world, 7th lowest corruption, most pro-business, low taxes and has the world's third highest GDP per capita.

  Singapore's economy is a free and developed market economy.  Industry and trade are the foundation of this country's economy. Through industry and trade, this country can provide the main source of income for its economy.

  Singapore's business culture is very competitive and has a very strong work ethic.  The group, not the individual, wins and the oldest or most competent members usually take the leadership position.  Avoid openly arguing, correcting, or disagreeing with older people or superiors.

  The third next presenter was Jessica, who gave an explanation of the customs and culture of America 

 The United States, abbreviated as the US, or generally known as America alone, is a federal constitutional republic consisting of fifty states and a federal district.  the capital is washington, D.C.  The national language in America is English.

  Why is the United States said to be a developed country?  The answer: The United States is said to be a developed country because several indicators have been met, among others: Income per capita;  As a result of the advancement of education levels, developed countries have higher incomes than developing countries.

  The economic system adopted by the United States is a mixed economic system.  With the economic system they run, the US has successfully experienced stable GDP growth, has a moderate unemployment rate, and high levels of research and investment.

  Art:

 The United States is widely recognized worldwide as a leader in mass media production, including television and film.  According to the United States Department of Commerce, this country accounts for one-third of the total media and entertainment industry in the world.

 American folk art is an artistic style and is easily recognized with quilts and other handcrafted items.  American music is very diverse with many styles, including rhythm and blues, jazz, gospel, country and western, bluegrass, rock 'n' roll, and hip hop.

  The next presenter was Ryan Aditya, who delivered an explanation of the customs and culture of Australia

  Australia, is a country in the southern hemisphere consisting of the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and various small islands in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean with a capital city of Canberra.

  Australia has no official language. However, English has been entrenched as the de facto national language since European settlemen.

  The next most common languages spoken at home are:

1. Mandarin (2.5%)

2. Arabic (1.4%)

3. Cantonese (1.2%)

4. Vietnamese (1.2%)

5. Italian (1.2%)

5. Greek (1.0%)

7. Hindi (0.7%)

8. Spanish (0.6%).

 Australian culture that really sets Australians apart is its relaxed outlook on life.

  The Aborigines are the indigenous peoples of Australia who have occupied the continent and its surrounding islands for 70,000 years.

- The boomerang is a traditional weapon of the Aboriginal tribe, Australia that has been found since decades ago

- Tiwi dance is a traditional Aboriginal dance

- The didgeridoo is a traditional musical instrument that has been around for thousands of years

- Yabun is Australia's largest indigenous festival.

  Australia is one of the most resilient, high-growth economies in the world.  Australia has an efficient government sector, a flexible labor market and a highly competitive business sector.  With abundant natural resources, Australia has had a high standard of living since the 19th century.

  Tuesday, May 25, 2021 Topic : "Discussion Meeting" Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh..   Hello everyone, this time my blog is different from the previous one because in this blog I only tell a little about the intercultural communication meeting which only discusses preparation for the final exam.  This time our meeting was through Microsoft Teams 365. To be honest, this is a new thing for me in using Microsoft, there are some obstacles when I want to enter the 365 website, and in my opinion it's easier to enter into the LMS syam-ok.  That's because I'm used to using LMS syam-ok, but that's okay, I will continue to learn to use Microsoft 365 because it has many benefits and makes it easier for Miss to record our meetings, besides that there are many other benefits.   Another advantage of this Microsft Teams is that it makes it easy to Miss to see who comes to join on time and who is late, then it will be seen if someone comes in and out of the room...
