Topic: "Discussion and Presentation In Some Countries"

  Hello you guys, how are you interested in reading the blog yet?  let's read the blog for an exciting exclamation as well as add insight.  This blog uses English which of course will add to your new vocabulary.  Reading will make you interested if you understand the meaning of the writing.  let's be diligent in reading.

  At this time, I was the first presenter who gave a presentation about the Swiss country, then the second presenter was Yasmin who brought an explanation of the culture of the Greek country, and the third presenter was Nur Afni who brought an explanation of the culture of the country of Brunei Darussalam.

The first Presentation by me

  Switzerland, officially the Swiss Confederation or in Latin Confoederatio Helvetica, is a federal state containing 26 cantons in Central Europe bordering Germany to the north, France to the west, Italy to the south, Liechtenstein and Austria to the east.  Switzerland uses 4 languages, namely German, French, Romans, and Italian.

  History:

  Switzerland was formed in 1291 by an alliance of cantons against the Habsburg dynasty—the Confoederatio Helvetica (or Swiss Confederation), from which the abbreviation CH for Switzerland derives—though only in 1848, when a new constitution was adopted, was the present nation formed.

  Swiss culture is heavily influenced by its linguistic diversity, and some cultural differences span the linguistic area. However, its diversity makes Switzerland a land of contrasts, and the options to explore are endless when you get to know the various Swiss traditions and customs.

  Some of the Swiss stereotypes like snow, Alps, skiing, chocolate, banks, watches, cuckoo clocks and cows can all ring, but studying in Switzerland will show you that the diverse culture at the Helvetica font house is more than stereotypical, from the Monta Alps.  Rosa to the Ticino palm trees.

  Democracy is a strong central principle of Swiss culture, and any citizen can petition to oppose any law proposed by parliament.

  Switzerland has a very stable, prosperous and high-tech economy.  The country's per capita income is also higher than most other Western European countries, and Japan.  The Swiss State also works with Indonesia through Swisscham.  Switzerland has agreed to cooperate with Indonesian palm oil which has quite high quality.

  Greece, the official name of the Hellenic Republic, also known since ancient times as Hellas is a country where the culture of the Western World was born in southeastern Europe, located on the southern tip of the Balkan Peninsula, in the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea.

  The majority of Greeks, 97 percent, are Orthodox Christians.  However, there is a Muslim minority concentrated along Greece's land border with Turkey, and tens of thousands of Muslim workers and refugees live in the country.

  Business Ethics in Greece Honest: 

 1. Be honest

 2. Be mature

 3. Behave well

 4. Wear neat clothes

 5. Name names

 6. Use good language

 7. Be polite

 8. Stand up when you meet.

  The next presenter was Nur Afni who chose Brunei Darussalam country

  Brunei Darussalam is a sovereign state in Southeast Asia located on the northern coast of the island of Borneo.  The official language they use is Malay.

  There are some unique facts in the country of Brunei: 

1. Brunei forbids the sale and consumption of alcohol

2. Brunei occupies the island of Borneo and has an area of ​​5,765 km²

3. Brunei is a Muslim country that follows Sharia Islamic law

4. The Sultanate of Brunei is 600 years old and is the oldest Muslim dynasty in the region.

  Some of the characteristics of the state of Brunei Darussalam are:

. The country with the largest oil producer in the world

. The majority of the people are Muslim

. One of the countries with the highest level of fish consumption in the world

. The country headed by the Sultan

. Is a country that applies a monarchy system.

  The strengths of Brunei Darussalam: 

 - Tax free country

 - Cheap fuel prices

 - Strong governance

 - Stable economy

 - Low crime rate

  Tuesday, May 25, 2021 Topic : "Discussion Meeting" Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh..   Hello everyone, this time my blog is different from the previous one because in this blog I only tell a little about the intercultural communication meeting which only discusses preparation for the final exam.  This time our meeting was through Microsoft Teams 365. To be honest, this is a new thing for me in using Microsoft, there are some obstacles when I want to enter the 365 website, and in my opinion it's easier to enter into the LMS syam-ok.  That's because I'm used to using LMS syam-ok, but that's okay, I will continue to learn to use Microsoft 365 because it has many benefits and makes it easier for Miss to record our meetings, besides that there are many other benefits.   Another advantage of this Microsft Teams is that it makes it easy to Miss to see who comes to join on time and who is late, then it will be seen if someone comes in and out of the room...
