Topic : Discussion and Presentation in Some Countries

Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh..

  Hello everyone, have you read my blog?  for those who have read it, I thank you, and for those who feel that you are not interested in reading blogs, I suggest that you must be diligent in reading blogs.  what's the point of reading blogs?  the answer is of course to add to your insight, fill your spare time and also train you to read blogs in English.  Hmm interesting right?  Come on, don't be lazy to read, if you don't like writing, at least like to read.

  At this time there were 4 of my friends presenting  this presentation is still the same as yesterday.  The four people presented with each country they chose.  The first presenter was Andi Nur Afni who chose China, the second presenter Rezki was patient who chose India, the third presenter Aulia Lutfiani chose Italy, the fourth presenter Baiq Nisrina chose Germany.

  Let's get into the discussion

  The first presenter was Andi Nur Afni, who presented China

  China, or its full name is the People's Republic of China or the People's Republic of China, is a country located in East Asia with a capital city in Beijing.  Chinese people use Mandarin.  The currency in China is the renminbi.

  China has extensive deposits of coal, oil and natural gas. Besides these fossil fuels, China is a top producer of aluminum, magnesium, antimony, salt, talc, barite, cement, coal, fluorspar, gold, graphite, iron, steel, lead, mercury, molybdenum, phosphate rock, rare earths, tin , tungsten, bismuth and zinc.

  Continued the second presenter,  was Rezki Amaliah Sabar who presented India

  India is a country in Asia with the second largest population in the world.  The capital of india is New Delhi.

Get to know the diversity of Indian culture:

1. Holi Festival.  Holi or the festival of colors is an early spring festival which is celebrated in Hindu countries, one of which is India

2. Unusual Marriage.  In Punjab, India there is a strange tradition of marriage that is not uncommon

3. Sati, Tradition of Self Immolation in India

4. Maha Kumbh Meha, Bathing for the Removal of Sins.

There are 4 types of caste in India:

1. Brahmin caste

Brahmins are the caste of priests, religious leaders and teachers

2. Knight caste

This caste is the warriors, kings and nobles

3. Vaishya caste

This caste is the traders, craftsmen and entrepreneurs

4. The Sudra caste.

This caste is the lowest caste, consisting of farmers, laborers, servants, and coolies.

  The third presenter was Aulia Lutfiani, who presented Italy

  Italy, officially the Italian Republic, is a unitary parliamentary republic in Europe located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea.  Italy is bordered by France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, San Marino and the Vatican.  the capital of italy is Rome.

  Italy is one of the most developed countries in the world.  This country is famous for various famous tourist attractions that are also worldwide such as the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain.  The country that made Rome the capital city also has a lot of natural wealth, such as mountains and beaches.

 Here are some of the culture and ethics of Italian society that you should know.

. Greeting

 Shaking hands with eye contact and smiling is a form of greeting for people we just met.  If you are already friends or have a more relationship, you can greet them by kissing the left and right cheeks

. Fashion style

 Clothing is an aspect of self that is considered and important for Italians.  Make sure you wear modest clothes while you are there.  Shredded clothing is a big no in Italy

. Eating Ethics

 In Italy, the person who invites or invites to eat at a restaurant is the person who pays for the food.  Then, try to place your hands on the table throughout the meal, not on your lap

. Business Ethics, punctuality is something you must pay attention to if you are in a business meeting

. Home visiting

 If you are planning to visit your Italian friend's house, make sure you arrive 15-30 minutes behind schedule to give the host time to prepare meals or events at the house.  Don't forget to bring something with you when you visit your friend's house.  You can give chocolate, flowers, or cake.

  The next presenter was Baiq Nisrina who brought Germany

  Germany, officially known as the Federal Republic of Germany, is a federation in Western Europe.  This country has a very important economic and political position in Europe and in the world.

  Form of government in Germany, namely:

1. Federal republic

2. Representative democracy

3. Parliamentary republic

4. Constitutional republic

  Apart from advancing in politics and economics, Germany also has a very long history and is well known for other things that have shaped our world as it is today, for good and for bad.  Germany is also famous for its culture, products, food, to world figures such as Albert Einstein and Adolf Hitler.

  There are several traditions and festivals in Germany Christmas is one of the biggest events in Germany.  

  From the first Sunday of arrival, the streets are full of decorative lights and Christmas markets are popping up everywhere with the most famous being Nuremberg, Munich, Essen and Heidelberg.

However, Germany also has other traditions including:

1. Advent Calendar

2. Saint Nicholas

3. Carnival

4. Easter

5. Maypoles

  Tuesday, May 25, 2021 Topic : "Discussion Meeting" Assalamualaikum Warrahmatullahi Wabarokatuh..   Hello everyone, this time my blog is different from the previous one because in this blog I only tell a little about the intercultural communication meeting which only discusses preparation for the final exam.  This time our meeting was through Microsoft Teams 365.
